About Woodland Wellbeing Therapies

A smiling woman stands behind a massage table in a calm room.

At Woodland Wellbeing Therapies, my work is driven by a genuine passion for helping individuals feel, move, and live better. I specialise in a holistic approach to wellbeing—supporting recovery, enhancing performance, and promoting long-term health through tailored, hands-on therapy.

My professional journey began within equine therapy, where I qualified as a Level 4 Equine Sports Therapist, alongside achieving an Advanced Level 5 Diploma in Equine Exercise Rehabilitation and a Level 5 Certificate in Equine Strength and Conditioning. Expanding my knowledge further, I have recently completed a Level 3 Diploma in Massage, including Anatomy, Physiology, and Pathology, allowing me to bring the same depth of understanding and care into treatments for people.

I am a registered member of AHPR and IAAT for equine therapy, and the FHT for human treatments, and I am fully insured to work with both horses and people.

Wellbeing, to me, goes far beyond treatment alone. It’s about understanding the body as a whole—how it moves, compensates, adapts, and heals. I take a thoughtful, individual approach with every client, focusing not just on relieving discomfort, but on supporting lasting balance, function, and resilience. My aim is to create a calm, supportive space where clients feel listened to, understood, and confident in their journey toward better health.

A key part of my philosophy is recognising the deep connection between horse and rider. The way a rider moves, holds tension, or compensates within their own body can directly influence their horse’s way of going, comfort, and performance—and vice versa. This understanding is what inspired me to expand into human therapy, allowing me to support riders as individuals as well as part of a partnership.

My decision to train in human therapy also comes from a wider passion for helping people become more in tune with their bodies—whether that’s through recovery from injury, managing day-to-day tension, or simply taking time to invest in their own self-care.

While this space is dedicated to human wellbeing, those within the equestrian community can also learn more about my equine-focused work at www.theequinesportstherapist.co.uk.

Looking ahead, Woodland Wellbeing Therapies will continue to grow, with new treatments and tailored care packages in development—including options designed to support both horse and rider together. I look forward to welcoming you and supporting you on your wellbeing journey🙌🏻
